Join us Saturday March 23rd for some Spring Cleaning around Ascent Church. In the same way you have items to be moved and cleaning to be done (indoor and outdoor) at your home, we have similar things to take care of around the church building. We will have coffee and donuts and will be getting started working at 9:00am. We will get as much done as we can until noon. We invite you all to pitch in and help us get organized and cleaned up after the winter and ready for the year ahead!

If you’re interested and willing to help by serving on one of our teams, fill out the form linked below. There are many ways in which you can serve. The form lists the different areas. We could especially use help on a cleaning team, but any area would be glad to have help. We schedule our serving teams in alignment with the VT semester schedule, so if you’re a student and aren’t sure about your summer availability to help, don’t worry. If you have any other questions, fill out the form and write in your questions at the bottom and we can dialogue more when you have someone follow up.

All students and young professionals are invited to watch the Super Bowl together tonight at the church. We’ll have wings, dips, the game on the projectors and lots of time to spend together. If you’ve been looking for an opportunity to get to know some others around the church who are in a similar life stage, this is it. The game starts at 6:30pm, but doors will be open at 6PM. Today after service from noon-2pm, anyone in middle and high school are invited to join us for our Month Kickoff. The first Sunday of the month, our youth gather for lunch, time together, and to introduce the discussion topic for the month. Every other Sunday, the youth join us in the auditorium for worship, then gather together in the lobby for a bible discussion during the remainder of the service.

Join us October 31st for our first ever Fall Party. If you’re out trick-or-treating, or are looking for an alternative for your family, our fall party is for you. We’ll have candy to give out to kids, games to play, snacks and warm drinks for everyone, and a costume contest with prizes. The party will be in the parking lot from 5:30pm-7:30pm, with the costume contest winners being announced at 7pm. We hope you’ll join us!!
